EcoWorks Movement

Building Resilient, Sustainable Communities

Eco-D helps residents and organizations create healthy, affordable, and energy-efficient homes. We’ve assisted over 57,000 residents through energy-saving workshops and upgrades, saving $49 million and reducing bills by 14%. We also launched Southeast Michigan’s first large-scale water conservation program, saving 2,100 households 20%, or $420 annually, through audits, education, and plumbing repairs.

Eco-D has created a model for inclusive community engagement, establishing 4 Eco-Districts in Detroit. Partnering with 50+ organizations, we work with thousands of residents to promote equity, climate protection, and resilience, empowering communities with resources for lasting, sustainable change.
