Since joining EcoWorks in 2017, DuBose has played a pivotal role in advancing the organization’s mission through innovative community-driven programs. With over two decades of experience in climate advocacy and operational leadership, she specializes in creating impactful strategies that address environmental and social concerns, emphasizing equality and justice. As a leader in the Metropolitan Detroit Sustainability and climate action ecosystem, her leadership continues to drive transformative change, fostering sustainable and empowered communities. She designs , launches, and manages community-driven programs that address pressing environmental and societal concerns. Having managed vast funding pools, including a commendable oversight of $50M annually for Michigan’s low-income energy assistance programs.
Briana’s dedication to environmental justice shines brightly in her pioneering ventures. One such initiative is the Climate Equity Advisory Council, collaboration with the City of Detroit, committed to creating a community-driven emission reduction strategy. Her efforts, grounded in equity and justice, aim to uplift communities disproportionately burdened by high-energy costs and the adverse effects of climate change.
A fervent advocate for collaboration, she has meticulously nurtured relationships with the Environmental and Energy Justice coalition, and with municipal leaders statewide, further solidifying Michigan’s commitment to these causes. Briana has been appointed by Governor Whitmer to serve on the Michigan Advisory Council on Environmental Justice (MACEJ).
DuBose is a graduate of the University of Cincinnati attaining a law degree and Bachelor of Arts in marketing and communications.

Bridget Saunders Vial is the Environmental Project Manager at EcoWorks. After earning a degree in Environmental Engineering from the University of Michigan, Bridget worked in community organizing and public health at Detroit-based environmental justice organizations. They are honored to join the talented team at EcoWorks and work to repair, insulate, and solarize Detroit-area homes, in pursuit of a just climate future. Outside of work, Bridget is an organizer, amateur photographer, and sometimes poet. They live in Southwest Detroit with their cat Oliver.

Aubrey Agee is the passionate, community-focused Senior Program Manager of the Community Change Grant at EcoWorks, leading their transformative $20 million EPA Climate Pollution Reduction Grant initiative focused on building climate resilience across Metropolitan Detroit communities. With over 30 years of professional experience spanning energy engineering, energy efficiency, renewable operations, entrepreneurship, technology, and automotive engineering, Aubrey consistently delivers quantum leaps for his clients and community partnerships. He spearheads Detroit’s first comprehensive community-based climate action plan to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in vulnerable neighborhoods while directing partnerships with organizations to implement energy efficiency, sustainable transportation, and green infrastructure initiatives. As Net Zero/Green Consultant for the $4.1 million East Warren Development Corporation Public Market and Kitchen Commissary, he provided feasibility studies, technical expertise, contractor networks, and funding resources for advanced green building initiatives. Aubrey won the Midwest Renewable Energy Association Grow Solar Highland Park-Detroit RFP and managed solar installations for nine homes while educating over 300 citizens about solar energy. His leadership extended to managing and improving installation processes for over 30 solar projects across Detroit neighborhoods and rural Michigan communities. As a director, Aubrey oversaw the installation of 200+ Cold Climate Heat Pumps and Heat Pump Water Heaters in LMI rural communities within Consumers Energy electric territory.
